Make gifts for Mom stand out by personalizing them with her name or monogram. Personalized presents are always a big hit! Read on for more ideas.

Personalization is a wonderful way to turn an ordinary gift into a customized present for someone special. Many companies offer a variety of merchandise that can be imprinted or engraved with monograms or a person’s full name. Check out these Mother’s Day gift ideas regarding personalized presents sure to make Mom smile.

Mother Jewelry Engraved With Children's Names for Mother’s Day

A piece of jewelry featuring the name of her children is a gift any mother will cherish forever. Companies like Nelle and Lizzy offer interlocking sterling silver rings that can be engraved with the names of up to three children as well as other unique personalized gifts.

If Mom has a charm bracelet, consider giving a special charm with her child’s name on one side and his date of birth, or birthstone, on the other. A simple gold or sterling chain and locket can be personalized with Mom’s initials on the front and two small pictures of her children inside.

Customized Electronic Photo Frames or Key Tags Make Great Gifts

Every mother loves to keep pictures of her children on hand, so consider putting together a digital photo montage for Mom this Mother’s Day. Many companies sell small digital key rings – one side can be engraved with her initials, and the other side will show a running slide show of her favorite photos.

Larger digital frames can also be personalized. These hold more photographs than the key rings. One of the nice things about either of these gift ideas is that the pictures can be updated quickly and regularly. This is handy since kids grow up so quickly.

Choose Personalized Gifts That Appeal to Mom’s Individual Interests

Does Mom love to travel? Then personalized luggage is the perfect present. Is she a master gardener? Then get her some pretty and useful yard gloves with her initials on the wrist. If you can think of it, chances are there’s a company that can put a name or initials on it. Check out these other ideas for personalization that will appeal to individual interests and talents:

  • Reader – beautiful bookmark
  • Shopaholic – oversized wallet
  • Cook – apron or chef’s hat
  • Household Diva – high thread count sheets and pillowcases
  • Spa Lover – soft cotton bathrobe
  • Speed Demon – license plate

It doesn’t take much thought or energy to choose a gift that’s made especially for the recipient. Just think about the things Mom loves and then take the extra step to add some initials to it. Gift givers can never go wrong by choosing a personalized present for someone they love.

Katherine Johnson :
I really liked this article. It is so hard to find anything that is truly original. I bought each of my parents and little book for their birthdays and then one together for their anniversary. I wanted to tell each of them just exactly how much they had meant to me and how they had made me a better person. I just couldn't find a card that said what I felt I needed to say, and I couldn't bring myself to buy another robe or tie. I think the site was MyLoveBook, and all I had to do was answer about 20 questions and they printed me a hardbound book that was really nice. I couldn't think of anything more personal. Good luck with your quest.
